Tales from the beer league part 2

So I kind of want to play for a different team next season... What's holding me back is kind of funny. We got custom jerseys last season and they're pretty sweet.

edit: just noticed my sig is back... weird

Season just starting at the CSHA in West Covina. I thought I was gonna be ready this season but because of my back problem I need to improve on my backward skating technique. Other than that I can fly forward.:boogie:

I play in Chicago and the North shore now. Was in Oakland.

Is this guy on your team?

There were too many beginner teams so they split it into two leagues. I'm on regular beginner. Hey Bob, you guys need a goon that plays hard in front of the goalie? Either position too.

my division needs to be called "Never Going to Get Any Better" or "Not a Beginner, but Still Suck"

I think we filled the roster but if we do have an opening I will let you know

Our division should probably be "Half these douches think it's the NHL, the other half want the Friday slot"

What team if you don't mind me asking? I've played with a couple guys from Victorious and Danger Zone.

My ice team, Fri-Sat-occasional Sunday at Lakewood will be looking for players starting next year. I think it starts in February. We are one of the Bronze divisons (The Keagles)... so we have beginners and silver players in our division. We are ok and its not life and death for us, more about fun and getting better. If anyone is interested, let me know.

I used to play goalie for The Goonies in that division.

Ugh... got the worst email on New Years. City of Burbank is shutting down the rink. Now what, Covina maybe?

The rink in Panorama City is taking over, so the city is ending their own operations and transferring them to the new owners. I'd be surprised if there was much of an impact.
