Well, if it's not degenerative it's a good knowledge to have indeed. If it is degenerative and cannot be prevented or slowed down, maybe not lol.

Well, you never know. Buffalo at the moment has 20 million and cap space and can definitely afford Kopitar's 10 for 2 years. And they definitely need some veteran leadership. No idea if they are on his list tho.

That being said I'd be very sad to not see Kopitar retire with the Kings and so would be a lot of fans...and I think that so far the Kings can afford this and one more season of his contract without being in very deep trouble (that's why Blake is giving his players all those sweet, affordable bridge deals).

Primarily his usage needs to be reduced to the second PP and PK units and more of a "3rd line" role. 15min/night max. If TM has the balls to do that, things will be allright.
