Agreed!

Klauss is a big part of making the offense happen, but I think the larger part (and again this is only a one game sample) was that Reus did not start., and neither did Haak.

Rues is very creative, but too sloooow for 90 minutes.
Sanabria was surprisingly better in that spot VS Sanabria from last season. I can't recall seeing him play there...usually he was an 8 or double pivot with Cerillo.

Wynder held his own at the 8 spot. Letting Cerillo be just a 6 only 6 means a better Cerillo IMHO.

G's had speed and were able to finally get balls from the back line up to the midfield and to the front third.
Finally no longer playing balls into each other's feet going forward, but playing the ball through and into the channels for Pec, Klaus, Paintsill to run up on it.
So you want to bet Reus and Haak start next game?

Well, I guess the trend of MLS Cup winners not visiting the White House during Trumps 1st and 2nd term is about to end.
it's almost a no win situation nowadays. Visit or no visit some group of people are going to be pissed off.

Yea, probably.

Why even do it at all? What's the point besides a president grandstanding.
It's a relatively "new" concept (the idea of inviting champion sports teams to the WH) started by Jimmy Carter.

I mean I have to believe the tradition was meant to say hey you did something pretty cool in this country and we're going to recognize you for it. It was inevitable with how polarized we all are it would become us vs. them

Other news, Dele Alli training at tottenham grounds and wants a new start to career. Sign him G's!! :)

So I was unable to watch the trainwreck in Colorado.

....but seriously, Greg, why are you starting Reus at altitude?
Heck, why are you starting him at all?!?!?!?

Here's an idea, why not keep the same winning lineup from the last match?
.....because Big Brain Vanney and is 4D chess strategy....right?

....also worried about Micovic being the starting keeper long term.

I made the mistake of watching it when I got home from the Kings game. After Klauss scored they had a lot of possession and momentum, until Pec lost his mind getting a 2nd yellow. Got to keep your cool there and not make a bad tackle. From there it was a sinking ship with no late game management.

I agree with same lineup, but Reus is the chosen one.
