HANDS UP FOR THIS STAR WARS SEVERED LIMBS PLAYSET
http://nerdist.com/hands-up-for-this-star-wars-severed-limbs-playset/

Six creatures and people who were unfortunate enough to be dismembered are featured in the series: the wampa, Ponda Baba, Darth Vader (he loses body parts as Vader and Anakin, poor guy), Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and C-3PO. The wood card backs are reminiscent of vintage Kenner designs, and honestly, I’d buy a poster of the above image. The figures will be made from hand (ha!) poured resin and painted by hand (double ha!) and because they are made with such loving care, pre-orders are limited to 10 figures total.

The figures in Series 1 of the Severed Limbs playset are expected to ship in late June. They’re all available for pre-order now though, and you can purchase the toys individually for $20 each or you can get the whole set of six for $100. See all of the card backs separately in the gallery below. These might be my new favorite Star Wars toys.

Would you buy a one-armed wampa? Head to the comments and tell me which Star Wars dismemberment is your favorite.

Rumor: Ewan McGregor to Return as Obi-Wan Kenobi for New STAR WARS Films
http://nerdist.com/rumor-ewan-mcgregor-to-return-as-obi-wan-kenobi-for-new-star-wars-films/

Y'know...he was one of the rare good things about the sequels, but i am real curious how they make that work age wise.

Oh, guess i should have read

Darth Maul?? Now that?s where things could get interesting. In the Clone Wars animated series, it was revealed that Darth Maul survived the events of The Phantom Menace, and after slowly putting himself together again, mind and body, he went out on a mission of revenge on Obi-Wan Kenobi. Maul?s fate was left hanging in that series and is one of the last major Clone Wars characters and storylines that we know isn?t set to get resolved in the upcoming season of Rebels. And both cartoon series have been designated official canon by Disney/Lucasfilm, so in the movies, Darth Maul is still out there, looking for revenge against Obi-Wan. Also, actor Joel Edgerton has stated that he?d return to the role of Owen in a new Star Wars film in a heartbeat. And Darth Maul, much like Boba Fett, is a fan favorite character that no doubt Disney would want to mine for more gold.

Several years ago, Dark Horse Comics published a 13-page short story called ?Old Wounds?, which featured a vengeful Maul coming to Tatooine and attempting to take out Kenobi once and for all. The fight ultimately ends at Luke Skywalker?s homestead when he?s just a small boy and explains why his Uncle Owen doesn?t want Obi-Wan anywhere near him in A New Hope. That short story could be expanded on and make a very cool movie if done right, something like a Star Wars version of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (although I?m not sure we need a trilogy of films of Obi-Wan?s time on Tatooine). Although the Star Wars prequels were polarizing (to say the least) Ewan McGregor?s performance as Obi-Wan in the one consistent highlight, and I think given a good script and no Anakin to worry about, we get could a tremendous movie out of this, if true.

Yeah, you KNOW they are gonna bring Darth Maul into the equation at some point. He is as beloved(without really ever actually doing anything) as Boba Fett.

I really like the idea, but everything I've seen is just sourcing one place right? This is a HUGE rumor and it's coming from a place that (I read) is sort of like the Eklund of rumors no?

Lord I hope this is true though.
