Sweet! Bummer that the documentary is the same one from the bluray release.

Picked up my Rogue One shirt from Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. Getting excited...less than 6 mos away.

Thrawn is just more proof they should've kept a lot more of the EU stuff.

I was more excited seeing what appeared to be The Outrider!

Edit: And of course... The Outrider was shot-down by Filoni immediately. Essentially 'It just looks like it'. :(

Was watching the live stream of CE for the Rebels panel and the crowd erupted, I actually got a little tingling as well. Glad that Filoni and team aren't afraid to pull characters out of the non-canon EU, especially someone as cool as Thrawn. Can't wait for the book too. Will be interesting to see if they harvest anyone else between the TV shows, books and movies. He said he's not planning on bringing in Mara Jade. That might be a little trickier as people associate her as Luke's wife and that may be hard for folks to shake even in a rebooted canon.

Its kind of a shame they can't bring Mara back. She was a really cool tragic figure early on in the Zahn series given her background. She helped normalize how people could be loyal to the empire instead of being "evil" or enslaved or just some mindless clone. I agree though, they bring her back and all hell will break loose in the shipper world.
 
I think I may be more excited for this than The Force Awakens. Looks amazing.
