LA GM Rob Blake continues to reshape his 2024-25 roster. In what has already been a fairly active few weeks for the Kings, they’ve now added Tanner Jeannot from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tanner Jeannot traded to LA Kings for 2025 second round pick and this year's fourth rounder (No. 118)

To get the rugged bottom-6 winger, they sent next year’s second round pick and No. 118 from the fourth round this year.

At 27 years old, Jeannot has spent the past two seasons in Tampa Bay after breaking into the NHL with Nashville in 2020-21. A native of Sweden, he played his junior hockey with the Moose Jaw Warriors.

He will likely need a new number, as he’s worn 84 exclusively since joining the league.
