From a clip Russel Morgan shared of the scrimmage today, Foegle posted right in front of the crease while Q and Kevin had possession and looking for a shot on net. Love to see it from day 1.

No clip but Jamsen opened scoring with a Michigan ha.

Time to bring back the Left Wing Lock.

As much as fans hate it along with the 1-3-1, I always seem to like the LWL. More so than the 1-3-1 or the traditional 1-2-2. Something about the LWL really made me so keen about it when the Red Wings employed it in the 90s. I don't know but I'm one of the few proponents of the LWL and wish it to be utilized again in the league.

I’m seeing reports on social media that Kopi said they aren’t going to play the 1-3-1 this year. I’m suddenly getting exciting for the new season.
What are the odds they fall back on it though when they feel like they're giving up too many goals?

The LWL was a lot easier to do when the 2-line pass was illegal . . . and you could get away with clutching and grabbing to your heart's content. I'm not saying it can't be done today, but not with the same monotonous effectiveness of 30 years ago.

Problem is, teams that have a cheat code at forward (McDavid) can tear it apart.

Must pound them into oblivion in the corners.
