For what will most likely be the final time in history, the Reign are hosting ‘Quakes Baseball Night’ at Toyota Arena on Tuesday. With the Dodgers set to move their Single-A affiliate to an all-new stadium in Ontario for the 2026 season, this could be the end of the Quakes-Reign relationship.

Regardless of how Ontario’s marketing team puts something together for the future, one thing is certain — Reign coach Marco Sturm and his staff are eager for some on-ice changes in the present. After running roughshod over the Western Conference in December, January hasn’t been too kind to the group. They started out 2025 with two consecutive wins. However, they enter play tonight having lost four straight and five of their last six. After a few days off to think about their most recent defeat — a 5-4 OT loss to Calgary on Saturday — getting some immediate revenge is likely fresh in their minds, as the rematch is set for 7pm.

In goal, Ontario’s bench boss appears to be going with Pheonix Copley to start things off.

Based on morning skate, look for a Dvorak-Walsh pairing, with Cole Krygier out after playing a few games recently.

Up front, don’t be distracted by the recent Sammy Helenius paper transactions. Those are all for salary, cap reasons, he remains on the NHL roster and is not set to play with the Reign tonight. Further, Aatu Jamsen remain sidelined with an injury. Indications were he would return over the weekend, yet that did not pan out. There is still no official timeline for the rookie forward to draw back in.
