‘Where can I watch the Kings game tonight?’
That specific question, or a similar facsimile, has been a rather common question on social media lately and it’s a fair question.
Overall, the landscape for sports television has been changing at such a rapid pace, it can be difficult to keep up with.
Here’s the bottom line, the Kings are about to enter year two of a three-year agreement with Bally’s Sports. So, the bulk of their games will be broadcast on the same channel you’ve essentially been able to find them for 30+ years.
Yes, they are still in business. And, yes, Nick Nickson is back doing play-by-play, with Jim Fox in his usual color commentary role.
LA will also play 13 games on nationwide television broadcasts via ESPN, TNT, truTV, MAX, and/or HULU broadcasts. They’ll debut on national TV on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Vegas and will play a total of eight divisional matchups on national TV, split evenly with four each on the road and at Crypto.com Arena.
The Kings national TV schedule for this month is as follows:
October
10/22/24 – LAK @ VGK (ESPN, ESPN+)
10/29/24 – LAK @ SJS (ESPN)
10/30/24 – VGK @ LAK (TNT, truTV, MAX)
As usual, a select number of games will also appear on KCAL. We believe that to be about six games; however, we’re just waiting for official confirmation from the team.
In total, that would leave about 63 games to be broadcast by Bally’s Sports. Here’s the good news, though. Fans never have to worry about where to watch the game. Each game day — both home and road, all 82 games of the regular season, plus preseason — the team at Mayor’s Manor puts out a Projected Lineup article. Inside those articles is also a section that lists where to find that day’s game on television.

What About Radio?
While nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet, some news shared recently shed a little light on what’s forthcoming.
Hearing @JoshSchaeferPxP has leveled up to the LA Kings, will no longer do Ontario Reign AHL TV.
Believe Josh — who calls a nice game, as we've mentioned several times over the past few yrs – will do PxP for the ~25 Kings games appearing on ESPN LA, AM 710 (w/ Evans on color?).

Besides former Reign play-by-play guy Josh Schaefer being added for the radio broadcasts, the big news here is that the Kings have left iHeart Radio. All games can now be heard via the ESPN LA app.
Some games (roughly ~25) will also be picked up by AM 710. However, again, all games can be heard in the ESPN LA app.
Hope that helps.
