Vancouver can't possibly be losing this game on purpose, are they? I doubt they would because they're trying to win it in order to let the Kings draw the WC opponent of their choice in the 1st round of the playoffs.
 
Maybe the Casucks don't want to lose.

Making up for all those lame PPs the last few games... We are looking good so far. hope we can keep up the pace!
 
1st period ends. The Kings may have scored 2 goals but then Vancouver strikes back with a goal of their own and then took over the rest of the period. LA then started getting sloppy with their passes and nearly let Vancouver tie the game. This is something LA really needs to correct in the next 40 minutes of this game, as they cannot afford to let Vancouver come back and control the next two periods.
