Someone pls ask We-know-we're-right-there what possible reason there is for constantly starting one of the slowest players in the NHL on 3x3.

One bright note from this evening - the Reign are now sitting on top of the the Pacific Division after defeating the Colorado Eagles in back to back games. The line of Alexandrov, Connors and Chromiak did all the scoring. Connors also netted one in the shootout. Reign are playing very well lately.

Turned the radio call on at 5am for the second and slept through most of the game. The game tying goal was very exciting though, followed immediately by flatly disgusted Schaefer in OT. I don't know what to say about this team and its historic issue with January, but in this case past performance seems indicative of future returns.

Fair point. But what defensemen should be or there instead? All 6 are slow. Replace Drew with Mikey or Joel? Clarke who's not a good skater?
Q and Fiala are 2 of the 4 who should be out in overtime with Kempe and Laffy being the other 2.
I'm not a fan of Hiller but this roster sucks. We don't have a 97 and 29 to put out and try to play 3:20 of a 5 minute overtime.

Simply horrible GMing. Gavrikov is gone. Do you start the Olympian, one of the 4 stay at home D, or Clarke (not a great skater and immature defender)?
If you start Fiala and Q, then you play Doughty. That way Kempe (and Laffy to a lesser extent) can cover up for Clarke's defense on the next shift.
Unfortunately the Kings decided to speed run the loss.
 
While it is very true often when teams are coming out of a slump they lose some game where they play well.

HOWEVER, it isn't "right there" if they keep losing points. Now it's more like a competitive team that just isn't good enough.....another words looks mediocre. That's the best adjective I can think of for this team.

Something needs to change whatever the case. Either do something to get the team over the top or tank for a draft pick...whatever the management decides.

My suggestion for the "tank" would be: if you want to tank the season leave the coach in place.

The point is that pairing Q and Fiala for 3 on 3 is a disaster waiting to happen. Both are undisciplined puck chasers. Both are high risk. Hiller should know this yet he keeps making the same ignorant choices.
