
He’s likely nearing what’s been an intense month in Los Angeles. For top prospect Liam Greentree, his season hasn’t even officially begun yet and he’s already felt several pressure situations.
Upon returning to Los Angeles about a month ago for more for more training and preparation — following a brief stint at Canada’s World Junior Evaluation Camp — the Kings top prospect has been under constant scrutiny.
All eyes were on the team’s 2024 first round draft pick during this year’s Rookie Faceoff event in Irvine — as highlighted in the video below. And even after those games against Anaheim and San Jose, the 19-year-old forward was called upon to suit up for coach Jim Hiller in four NHL exhibition games, including Tuesday night in Boise against the Mammoth.
While it’s likely difficult to encapsulate everything that happened in those earlier rookie games, here’s a small taste:
