Winning afternoon games at Crypto.com Arena was once thought to be a rarity for the Kings, but these are different times. With a 7-2 win over the visiting Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, coach Jim Hiller’s team not only continued their dominance on home ice this season, but they did so in historical fashion.

For the first time in more than 50 years, all 12 LA forwards recorded at least one point.

Today vs the Hurricanes was the 2nd time in @LAKings history 12 different forwards had at least a point in the same game

Other was April 6, 1974 vs Vancouver@mayorNHL @KingsMenPodcast @DooleyLAK

Quinton Byfield scored another beautiful goal, adding to his own hot streak coming out of the Four Nations break last month. Adrian Kempe opened the scoring just a few minutes after puck drop, and Kevin Fiala added the Kings seventh goal of the day in the dying minutes of regulation. However, it was newly acquired Andrei Kuzmenko who perhaps had the biggest marker of the day, He put his team up 3-0 heading into the first intermission and that proved to be too big of a hill for Carolina to crawl back from.

Video highlights of all the action can be seen below.
