VRANKOL'S Movie Quiz

Remember when this thread used to be a vital, living thing??? Honestly think it may be time for a shutdown with a relaunch at a later date. I just think it's played out it's sense of fun and community participation at this point. Maybe a few weeks off would reviatlize the whole idea.

Not a chance, and even repeating movies can be fun if different screen shots are used. Problem is that that many posters take too long to throw up new hints/screens when there are no guesses and the people who guess don't seem to bother and check back if they were correct and post a new movie. These lags in the game allow the thread to drop off and die. If no one has even taken a guess after 6 hours, then you have obviously stumped everyone and it is time for a new screen/hint. When it goes on for days, people lose interest. I'm not talking about any one person here, it seems to be the way the game has changed/evolved.

Nothing wrong with having your film guessed in the same day you posted it.

I understand the impetus behind that, but then you're punishing people who aren't checking the thread, or LGK, as often as some of the rest of us. It seems a lot less likely that we are able to continue with some of the less frequent users in here.

What we might ought to do is ask those people where the **** they've been and if they're even still bothering to check the thread.

sorry for not posting a new one, got busy with a bunch of ****. VEGASKING probably would have guessed whatever image I put anyway so I'm glad he took my turn
