the same director of photography as another beautiful film recently in this thread. A true master of color.

It's probably time for me to watch this one again, too.

I might make a triple feature this week of this movie along with Contempt and The Conversation. Three of my favorites!

For this film, the director earned a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination, but he won in that category as well as Best Director for another film in the mid-80s. (Should I name that film?)
