OFF-TOPIC POST regarding High Spirits:

This movie was so far off my radar, I forgot it existed. I remember it now, but I never saw it, and FWIW, Peter O'Toole has 8 Oscar nominations.

Anyway, the posted picture somehow got my mind stuck on Haunted Honeymoon…
… which got me thinking about Gene Wilder…
… which got me thinking about his 1969 Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in The Producers…
… which got me wondering who was the 1969 Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actor…
… which is Jack Albertson for The Subject Was Roses…
… which I have never, ever seen (although I think it's great that Albertson and Wilder join forces for one of my all-time faves, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory)…
… which got me wondering who won the major Oscars in 1969…
… which really made me wonder, if you look at a list of 1968 movies, how 2001: A Space Odyssey is not even nominated for Best Picture?!

A screencap from a movie I saw a part of, once, many years ago, I remember.
