They wanted to get Keaton Verhoeff into the game which is a good idea considering he is currently ranked the #2 overall prospect entering the draft.And he’s a healthy scratch tonight (I assume he’s healthy)
Seems like Greentree is being kept "ready" in case of injury but the goal is to give as much time as possible to certain forwards which lessens the need for 4 complete lines.
Side note: Kings should take a swing at signing Dakoda Rheaume-Mullen.
