I just kept trying to make words. No idea what the eventual correct word meant - solved in desperation.

Yeah I brute forced it, I still wanna know how DRice used two hints on the same word

It’s really easy. You press hint twice. Also, you can still keep making words to fill the hint bubble even when letters have already been used.
