Well, that sucked. Dodgers lose Game 4 of this year's WS and the series is now tied at 2-2. Ohtani was the SP of this game but looked visibly drained after last night's marathon of a game as he gave up a 2-run HR to Guerrero and he was pulled out of the mound during the 7th inning after the Dodgers scored a single run early in the game. Banda and then especially Treinen combined to give up 4 more runs to the Jays and though the Dodgers tried to rally back in the bottom of the 9th, they only got a single run out of it and got three outs to come out with an L. Final score: 6-2 Toronto.
Come on, Dodgers, get some much needed rest tonight after last night's game and bounce back in Games 5 and 6. Also, Dave Roberts, if you're listening, stop putting Treinen on the mound for relief situations 'cause he has seriously regressed this season compared to last season; he is now considered the worst bullpen pitcher on the Dodgers roster this season. Putting him on the mound against the Jays is just asking for free runs to the opposing team. After this WS, the Dodgers really need to look for better relief/bullpen pitchers and release Treinen in the coming offseason.
