Toronto Jays manager Schneider must have called the Kings coach Hiller,to get pointers on how lose a series when you’re ahead in the series.Because that is the way Schneider seemed to manage game 7 of the WS that led to the Dodgers winning the WS tonight.Congrats to the Dodgers for winning back to back WS

That would suggest Hiller might get to a game 7.

I think he out-managed Roberts overall. We just had better players and execution when it mattered.

Even Freeman said Rojas with a tying homerun in the 9th was on no one’s bingo card.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Dave has always had questionable decisions during high pressure games. When they go wrong he is an idiot, when they go right he is a genius. I guess it is what it is. I still believe he (like Deano) has too much loyalty for his OG Veterans and cannot tell them "no" when he needs to.

I cant say for sure but I'm guessing he asked Shohei how he felt after the second and if he was ok for the 3rd when it was obvious (at least to me) that he was gassed after he got out that jam in the second. Shohei said he was good to go and Dave said ok. We know what happened next. :fpalm:

Next one, bringing in Wrobleski after Shohei got rocked after showing Glassnow was up and throwing too. I get what he was trying to do and I'm sure he was trying to make sure Glassnow could go deep into the game since he had been throwing well. I guess he gets a pass on this one.

Next, bringing in Miggy Ro for Pages in Game 6. Again I had my doubts (since he was never known for his offense which they took Pages out for lack of) but look at what Miggy did defensively and that HR. :woot: Even Mookie said he looked to Miggy for advice on how to play better at short. I had no idea how everyone looked up to Miggy Ro in the clubhouse.

And then bringing back Pages right before the "catch." No way Edman on his bum ankle runs that ball down (and Kike :mhihi:) to make that catch.

Lastly, having the guts to bring back Yama for not one but two innings and the eventual GIDP ball and the WS Championship.

Back to back WS titles so I guess we just enjoy while we can. Until next season when Dave make another questionable decision that blows up in his face yet again. :mhihi:

From B/R:Blue Jays' Isiah Kiner-Falefa Explains Not Taking Bigger Lead at 3rd Base vs. Dodgers: "They told us to stay close to the base. They don't want us to get doubled off in that situation with a hard line drive," he told reporters. "Varsho hits the ball really, really hard. (Muncy's) right there, I'm waiting for a backpack from Will Smith in that situation. I can't get doubled off right there, so it's almost like bases loaded. They wanted a smaller lead and a smaller secondary, so that's what I did.
Some numbers:

His 7.8 ft primary lead ranked 357/381 out of all primary leads in the World Series.

His 8.9 ft secondary lead ranked 366/376 out of all secondary leads in the WS.

His 28.2 ft/s sprint speed ranked 61/689 out of all sprint speeds in the WS.
A bigger lead would have won the Jays the WS,since the Jays runner would’ve beaten the throw to home plate for the WS winning run.
