“Sanheim missed on a wide open chance on a power play, and while the Flyers missed on their few opportunities, there simply weren’t too many of them in this game for either side. It certainly didn’t feel as if the Flyers gave this game away, but it’s an extremely frustrating loss in what was a winnable game against a high-quality opponent.”

-Michkov has to take that himself. No confidence.
—That’s what happens when you’re punished non stop, for trying anything creative.
-Michkov puts it on a tee - Laughton flubs it. Typical. They'll bench Michkov for not being able to fly the team plane tonight.
-Let the rout begin #culture.
-Laughton with the open net shank and then a clean screen (on the wrong goalie). 0/10

-Overall this has been a much higher level of hockey than the game yesterday. The Ducks game was a rough one.
-Every time the Kings take a shot, I expect it to go in. If Kolosov was any deeper in his net, he’d be in the 3rd row.
-i've looked up twice now from my computer and the Flyers were pinned in both times..or was that one continuous pin in
—Psychologically, they've been pinned in their own zone since 2010, so on one level, yes.
-Only explanation for that is that Michkov is a Puckbender. That goal wouldn't have been possible in any world that obeyed the laws of physics.

-I feel like Kevin Fiala has been in the NHL for 15 years. He is only 28. His first season was 2014-15. 2016-17 was when he became a regular player for the Predators.
—Predators are incredibly bad at judging forward talent.
-Killer goal, just as we had the. Lead and we're pressing in their zone.
-Looking at us play the Kings, seems we could really use some more size. A couple of our lines look like kids next to them.
-Wow, that's about as bad as can be played without a goal against. Yikes.
-I love when hockey turns into that. The final 2 minutes were pure chaos. That's the best.

-Can’t win by filling the net.
-First regulation loss when leading after 2
-Michkov clearly didn't play enough defense....
-Kopitar player of the game. 2 third period goals. draws penalty and scores on that pp. Game gets to winning time, that guy is a winner
—I feel like he's been that guy for almost 20 years, even if he's never been talked about as much as he deserves. Wish 1C like him came along more often.
——He's a .89ppg player over the past 19 seasons. That's pretty impressive.
