Thank you Nyssa for the GDTs this season. Gonna be a long wait until October.

It almost would have been better if the Kings had been blown out in this game.

The play at the end with a hold by a player without a stick takes the cake. No idea how they saw all the other "stuff" and somehow missed that one.

This team matched my best case scenario going into this series. I had them getting swept, and at best stealing ONE game.

It's going to be an interesting off season. I'll be surprised if Blake get fired. He'll probably leave for some other job and Kings get to pick up the pieces and the ridiculous PLD contract.

Will have the entire off season to discuss but 8 free agents, need for a number 1 goaltender and likely 5M in cap space including Kopi smaller contract with out counting the cap increase will allow a hopefully new GM to make some moves without resorting to a “rebuild” which I don’t think is necessary.

A TRUE rebuild is absolutely necessary.

If Kopi and DD stay with this team for the next season, they must have their captaincy stripped off their jerseys for the rest of the next season and over and give them to the more deserving players. They are terrible at leading this Kings team, no ifs or buts about it. I prefer that Kopi retire and DD to take his talents to another team, just not in the Western Conference.

I'll be rooting for Florida, Nashville, or Vancouver. I like to see a fan base get to celebrate for the first time, after having to wait 45 years to see the Kings hoist their first cup. Spread the joy around.

It's depressing to see that this is the way Kings go out. They only take one shot and the oil clear it. NO ONE from the top 2 lines have stepped up.

The Kings need a new captain. I respect Kopi, but he has failed as a captain of this team. It's time to give someone else a chance.

Yeah, no need for a tear it down rebuild. Just retool the roster with the right vets. Florida made excellent moves after their playoff flameout 2 years ago. And that was after they traded a ton of picks for guys like Girioux and Chiarot who they lost for nothing.

I have one word for any offseason plans that do not include trading PLD before 7/1

Respectfully disagree. Kopi is a machine for a 56-year-old player. He’s giving three times what the team should expect from him. Doughty, while not flawless, is definitely a motivator and spark out there.

There’s nothing those guys can do, given the personnel they’ve got to work with. Besides, a letter on a jersey (or absence thereof) has no impact on whether someone can lead or not.

Kopi and Doighty have led us to two Cups. I think they’ve earned it and continue to demonstrate why, despite them both receiving retirement age social security benefits.

I disagree that the Kings need a new captain. They need more leaders and some "drivers". Those players do not need to be the captain(s) of the team.
