***LA Kings @ Winnipeg Jets GDT 4/1/24 6:00pm on BSW***

this team is fragile in such a weird way
They don't show up for games they really need to show up for. Which makes me really nervous for all the games against crap teams they're going to play down the stretch with nothing to lose.

I've said it earlier in the last GDT: the Jets are coming off a loss (actually off their current losing streak) and are laying it on the Kings tonight. If the Jets snap their losing streak, then the Kings' losing streak gets theirs extended in frustrating fashion.

That's game. This is on TO's failure to put it in Winnipeg's net on that breakaway chance. That allowed the Jets to regain the lead in the 3rd. Winnipeg's losing streak is snapped while LA's losing streak continues. The Kings are snakebitten after winning in Vancouver, further compounded by Danault's sudden loss to an apparent upper-body injury he suffered in practice before the Calgary game.

Another terrible game. I don't know what is it going to take for the Kings to get out of their funk.

Maybe it's the PB Easter Eggs talking, but I am optimistic that the Kings will pull a rabbit out of their hat. ;) 🎩
Just after they pull their heads out of their arse?

Yet another lost lead (twice). Was it the refs fault again tonight like it was against Tampa?

Maybe Danault is that important, but the effort the last two games has just been completely pathetic. I'm at the point where I'm probably not going to be that disappointed if they play themselves out of the playoffs, because it's gonna be a really short series even if they get in. This team just doesn't have it.

This road trip is telling of what is to come in the playoffs.

At the end of the day I’m happy we play Vancouver but what a joke of such an important road trip.

We watched them run the clock at 2 min mark. Pathetic. No fight, too small and unwilling to engage with bigger bodies. Once again, Lizzotte was the only one giving it all

You think he would bury himself tonight just to show up his former team.
I'm an Angels fan. I think we're seeing the Kings version of Anthony Rendon. Tons of talent. Doesn't really like playing hockey all that much, and it shows. Now he's got the bag, and can just cash checks for the next eight years.
