***Columbus Blue Jackets vs. LA Kings GDT 2/20/24 7:30pm on BSW***

Coming off a couple games that maybe they shouldn’t have won, big to win a game they should have won. Need to keep it rolling through Saturday.

Game over. This may be the BJs but the Kings had some pretty sloppy moments that would have resulted in a closer game than they would have anticipated. Nonetheless, LA asserted their dominance over Columbus and put this game out of reach.

Much needed win, with great individual highlights. But pretty sloppy as a team. Too many gaffes tonight. Hope they clean things up a bit on Thursday.
Saved from themselves because they were playing a bad team and had some timely saves. They play like that again an upper echelon team, they will get smoked.

Talbot won that game. Kings play that way against a good team and it's a different story. Happy for the win, however, they need to clean up their mistakes.

Weird. PLD scoring when he has some decent talent on the ice with him. Hmm.

He played with almost every player before the break without success. Hiller or the break itself sparked something for him to work on his own game, which has been the difference more than his line mates. Personal effort and responsibility and it's showing.

A few thoughts...

1) Laffy keeps backchecking like did tonight he'll stay in the league
2) PLD finding himself, and i'm here for that
3) QB with the goal of the year...or maybe the decade
4) Talbot getting back on track
5) Kings a bit lucky that their defensive mistakes didn't hurt them

Loved Nick calling out the D and letting Cam hang out to dry. He saved their tush tonight. A win is a win.

Yeah that was brutal - 2 giveaways and then 3 dudes staring behind the net at a slot shot. Talbot saved em on that. Kings could run n gun tonight and he made some big saves. Really need to clean up the D. I'll take the offense tho.

All of that is exactly true. I'd also add that they made a lot of sloppy, careless passes. Especially noticeable with that were 12 and 22.

Write it down, the following sequence for Arvy is inevitable: day to day--a week goes by, week to week--we're well into March, month to month, season.:(

Agree to a degree. No consistency with the better half of the lineup. Spent a lot of time being the only supposed talent who was going to pull up others, apparently. Coaching change helped, but also because he gets to play more time on the ice with players he didn’t get as much time with before.
