Team USA needs some offense out of Jack Hughes. He’s been completely invisible. Matthews hasn’t been much better.

If Canada dominates the puck in the 3rd like they did in the 2nd this game could be over early in the period.

I'm really developing an appreciation for some of the players on the USA team that I don't see often. Slavin and Eichel have already been mentioned. I thought McAvoy had a great game vs Canada previously. It's nice to be able to root for players that play a great game.

I'd like to see Matthews step up and be the star he's supposed to be. I don't care if he's invisible for Toronto, but you're supposedly THE man for team USA. Make it happen, Austin. Game winning goal.

I hear you, I was speaking more full tournament, where he had only 1 assist going into this game. He just had a nice shot, I like it.

I have been saying since about 2016 that he's the best d-man in the whole NHL. When I was following the Hurricanes closely when JW was there I was always singing his praises.

Drew has been excellent in this game. He should be back up to full speed for Saturday, assuming he doesn't have too many bruises from TChucky hitting him multiple times.
