All Things:AMC television

Sasha + Abraham was totally out of left field and I kinda dig it???

And was that Glenn saying "help" on the walkie talkie at the end or someone else? I've only watched it once and wasn't able to catch the voice all that well.

+1. Up until now...I had felt like either one of them would be the next up, as far as deaths for effect. Now I know that they will at least get to know each other and maybe have a nice moment or two before one of them dies horribly.

Great couch for Talking, with Doug Benson, some broad, and Merle. They addressed the HELP radio call at the end. And the consensus was that it was blonde dude. I can't see Darryl being without his 'Lucille' for too long.

Really liked Into the Badlands. Yes...fairly stereotype/archetype fantasy characters/situations, but from simple beginnings some great things have bloomed. The action sequences are very well done and kinda beautiful...especially the one in the rain. So hopefully that will carry the show until they, once again hopefully, develop the story to match. Not for everyone. But I am on board.

Those fight scenes were pretty epic for a tv show. When that kid went white walker and threw the shard of glass into that guy's eye....daaaaayum

Pretty remarkable how close they going to the book ... except for tonight's big reveal but next week ... whoa ...

I don't even care how silly the dumpster shimmy was.....I'm so happy Glenn made it. I'm not ready to let go of him yet.

And next week is going to be bonkers. Can't wait!

Basically this. The makers of the show still should have ended the last episode that Glenn was in at the point where he and dumbass are falling off the dumpster. And not removed his name from the credits.

Of course, from seeing comments on sites from comic nerds, now I have to worry about [REDACTED] showing up to [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in the [REDACTED] with a [REDACTED], although I am expecting/hoping that the middle 'REDACTED' gets changed.

I am glad to see the crowd basically forgiving the show just because they are glad to have Glenn back. My problem with that is, now, every Glenn scene has me in sheer terror waiting for the other shoe to drop. I thought last night's episode was strong, like all the ones this season...and next weeks halfway point is going to be terrible, at least insofar as knowing we are going to lose someone or someones important. They are basically setting Eugene to watch as someone he cares for dies, or to go out a hero himself, embracing his fears and just sacrificing himself. Either way, I think we are going to have a LOT to discuss next Monday.

Was glad to see the Alexandrians stepping up and trying to crack Rick's frosty disposition.

I think they are running head long into what the book played out including an infamous gun shot wound. I already told my family - who were incredibly grateful Glenn was alive - that next week is going to be a blood bath. I fully expect it to be extremely ugly. As jd said earlier Glenn is very much on the path of destiny ...

I think Chris Hardwick does an excellent job with Talking Dead. It is definitely not easy. The SoA post talk show was a train wreck.

Sorry. I need to interject these to this thread every once in a while for my own peace of mind.

The SAMCRO post talk show was the Titanic and the Hindenburg rolled up together.

Count me as one that was glad that Glenn was alive but I have to throw the BS flag regarding the steeple/tower all of a sudden tipping over. For that to happen it would take a tremendous amount of work and that work would make a lot of noise. Unless I missed it, it semed as if it just tipped over out of the blue.

But I guess we will find out what crazy thing made it happen later.

Oh Man...Really Baron. I mean...I get it, that's a state secret you can't let sneak out. But...wow. That was a little brutal. The Widow is kinda HAWT. Just saying. Daniel Wu has one expression. No really...just one. More Stephen Lang please...lowered the action a bit and the story was...meh...Still, digging Into The Badlands.
