All Things:AMC television

I actually really don't think Michonne will die. I'd be worried if Michonne was JUST Rick's love interest (like Jessie was), but she's not. She's a katana-wielding badass who is an integral part of the group, arguably one of Alexandria's new leaders along with Maggie and a mother figure to Carl and Judith. I would REALLY hope they wouldn't kill off one of the show's best characters just for Rick to have some more manpain.

****TOTAL SPECULATION/POSSIBLE SPOILERS BUT NOT REALLY****
Regarding Negan, I honestly think Daryl's getting Lucille'd. MAYBE Abraham??, but Daryl would have way more of an impact. I don't think that's Michonne's fate.

MORE SPOILERYSPOILS SPECULATIVE OF COURSE

If you have seen the clip, or go back and rewatch, after Daryl blowed them guys up real good, a car took off in the way far distance. So...Negan(?) saw Daryl kill all them boys? Maybe they figure they can actually get away with killing Daryl. I dunno. I would have to think that's madness...but who knows.
ps.See the link that I am talking about in post #2617

I'm thinking their production wranglers (or whoever?) missed closing off a road and some random John Q Public car just drove-by... it's so tiny and far away.

Better Call Saul is so good. The opening Cinnabon scene. Epic. Look, if you want Breaking Bad 2...go watch something else. This is a different animal. And it deserves to be. Funny, I watched a stray episode of Breaking, late last night. And Saul was far different. The same...but very different. And if you are interested in watching that transformation, that's what you should be tuning in for. Not for WW to show up. Yeah, you will get little crossovers/easter eggs, but the focus of this show is watching a con man go legit, and then lapse back...and the two personalities combining. And that is fascinating so far.

Personally, I found the b&w scene when Saul was trapped with the garbage, so telling. He wouldn't hit that door and set off the alarm. In my opinion because the criminal has been beaten out of him to the point of paralysis. YET, Jimmy McGill was here on the wall said to me that deep deep down...maybe not too far gone.

Spot on JD, spot on! I have to admit when I first watched BCS when it premiered it was hard NOT to compare it to BB. But after a few episodes I was able to separate the two shows in my head and really absorb and enjoy BCS. Like you said, same, but very different. Sure there will be some easter eggs and crossovers, but I think many people might be expecting way too many of those. But I don't. I really love seeing how often Jimmy struggles with trying to do what is right, but he has repeatedly said that it has gotten him nowhere.

Great show.

Agree on you assesment on the show being a different beast. I actually really enjoyed the first season. I did have different take on the trapped scene. I thought it was because he didn't want to set off the alarm in order to not bring attention to himself in anyway because he is on the run. There would be video and who knows if the cops show up he might get recognized because he is wanted. Those scenes are really sad to see what he become specially from where we see him begin the journey in Season 1.

I think the b&w/Cinnabon scenes are setting us up for a big turn around f u when this show plays out it's last episode. I can see Jimmy walking through a door, maybe even the emergency door, the b&w bursting into color and Saul emerges...nice suit, hair intact, music swelling, as he walks out of frame, walking the earth a la Jules in Pulp Fiction.

Last night's episode was hilarious. I'm never going to look at pie the same way again.

Love this show. I like the Easter eggs, but this show is really nothing like Breaking Bad and is terrific in its own right. I really had my doubts when I heard about the spinoff, but it has exceeded my wildest expectations. It's worth watching just for the Chuck/Jimmy dynamic. Two terrific actors at the top of their game with a script which gives them something to sink their teeth into.

Negan had to send us a message right off the bat...

When did Jesus have time to use a hair straightener?
He was rocking a straightened, face-framing supermodel style there for a few minutes.

If you have a character (last night) say someone (Negan) did something... and then you have that character actually do it (in the season finale maybe?)... is that good writing?

I am surprised that nobody is calling the shot.

SPEC SPOILER ALERT

It's so gonna be Maggie. They are funnin' around by eenie meenie-ing us to death, but it's gonna be Maggie and her unborn baby. And that's spectacular. If they don't do it I am going to be pissed.

If a fetus dies in the womb will it turn? That's how Maggie will die. (my prediction)

Was seriously thinking something bad was going to happen at the end of the episode with all the dramatic build up and my knowing the comics. To me I am almost as giddy as when they got to the prisoner and dealt with the governor. Hope they don't wimp out with Neagan's character like they did the governor. Been waiting several seasons for this build up. Writers better not disappoint

Damn does Rick always have to make an impression by killing someone and getting covered in their blood.
