Better Call Saul is the slooooooooowest show on tv AINEC. I like it and all, but come on!! - 3 or 4 things need to need on every show.

I love the show. Don't even notice the slowness. It is so much better than other slop like Blindspot which has fast pace action in every episode.

Can't even believe that it would not be automatically renewed. Haven't seen ratings but it's one of the best shows out there on cable and seems like it should have plenty of viewers.

Who is ready for preacher. I crossing fingers that the second season will rock as was very blah about the first one. From what I hear is where the story really progresses. At least the trailers make the upcoming season seem faster pace.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. From what I have read, the ratings dropped a little this season. I am cynical...so I think AMC is stalling to generate publicity and maybe entice some viewers back. AMC has made some bad decisions before though, but I cannot see them basically cutting ties with the Breaking Bad consortium. That's a lot of good writers/directors that may hold a grudge. Plus, even with the dip, their ratings are still decent to good. They may be pushing for BCS creators to maybe put an end date on the thing with this being the hold up. Who knows? Like I said though, wouldn't worry too much.

AMC has finally renewed its Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul for Season 4. The series had been part of negotiations with the network over how much farther co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould thought the story needed to go, as well as other contract talks (especially since there had been some shakeups at Sony in the meantime). But fans need not worry after that devastatingly bleak Season 3 finale — the show will be back, and Slippin’ Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) will ride again and continue his descent into Saul Goodman territory.

PREACHER IS ****ING PERFECT.

That first season...so few reasons to be optimistic. **** all that now. If you gave up...COME ON BACK. They have managed in 2 episodes(haven't watched the third yet) to get it ALLLLLLLLLLLLL right. Now...it isn't EXACTLY the comic. But damned if it isn't close enough to actually bring chills and tears of joy. Serious guys...get back to watching this. Think of that first season as a pilot. Cause it bears almost no resemblance to what came before. I know I can wax fanboy, but if you knew what high regard I hold the source material in...this is no faint praise. PLEASE PLEASE WATCH!!!!!!

Is Season 1 required before watching season 2?
 
Well...yeah. Kinda. Look at it as due diligence. I would love to say no...because it's very clunky. But I think the backstory is very important to understanding what's going on. If you can find a 5 minute youtube recap of 'the story so far', you would be ok. But yeah, you can't go into s2 cold. Plus there are a few scenes that actually are pretty damned good. Just not enough.
 
Man...Fear The Walking Dead has truly gotten GREAT. Mid-season 2 hr finale was terrific. TWD hasn't been this good in years.

Wow, he did not hold back at all. Always thought it was weird how they cut the budget for Season 2 after the 1st season was such a success. Never got what AMC was trying to do.

FWD is great show in its own right. The show has definitely grown on me over the last two seasons.
