All Things:AMC television

Or even better since it's a prequel... some Mike Ehrmantraut

I just spent the last two weeks watching all the Breaking Bad episodes so that I could be cool and watch the final few episodes with everyone else. This has been a much better experience than Dexter so far.

OOOf not even worth mentioning in the same thread. See...Breaking Bad's creator/writers RESPECT their audience.

What's amazing is that the series has consistently (or close to it) gotten better since the first season.

I know this has become the Breaking Bad thread but i gotta say Hell on Wheels has been great these last few eps.

Oh and F the Swede!

Oh and F the Swede!

Agree wholeheartedly Bob. Always room to discuss other shows. I worry though. Have no idea what the ratings are but with the recent re-cancellation of The Killing I am not sure what the future holds. And yeah, the Swede is just solid darkness. Arguably the best this show has been running as far as maintaining pace and story. Hope they get another go at least.

I kinda miss Gus. - and the laundry facility cook kitchen. I can imagine Gus getting his building permit and the planchecker asks him: "so Gustavo what are you gonna be doing in this lab that you need this much equipment?" Gus: "oh, restaurant menu research and stuff..." :puff:

Name of kid shot by Todd: Drew Sharp

Houston DEA agent Hank spoke with: Doughty

Is there a Kings fan among the Breaking Bad writers?

"I watched her die"

and that knife fight.

wow. so much more but those are the crazy parts that stick out to me and don't give away as much.

oh and I totally knew what Todd was up to with Jesse. twisted little f***.

Damnit I'm still pissed about Hank.

At one point during the second season I thought to myself how cool it would be if by the end of the series Walt turns on his family and possibly even kills his wife. How tragic that would be after all he went through FOR them. It's actually happening!!

"I watched her die"

I was so worried they were heading towards some kind of redemptive moment but then that....

Ooof. I think that was the most evil thing Walt has ever done. Nothing to gain, no leverage to be had. Just simple malevolence for its own sake.

Oooooof.

Wow, amazing episode. Poor Hank. A bit shocking to me that Walt would give up all of his money to save him. And I guess in Walter's twisted mind he somehow blames Jesse for the whole situation that lead to Hank's death, otherwise why would he twist the dagger?

I really liked the flashback scene too, Walter had to rehearse and psych himself up before calling up and lying to Skyler. Shows how far he's gone.

I'd say it's his family turning on him, rather than the other way around.
