All Things:AMC television

Great Walking Dead last night...I have seen the enemy, and it am us. Rick is getting dangerously close to being what he keeps warning the Alexandrians about, and Carol...well, Carol just rocks. Cookie maker by day, nightmare of children by night. Trust me kid...take the cookies and zip it. Sasha is a little...nuts. Really, do those folks know who they opened the door for? And the W on the forehead. I think the writing is on the wall for the finale of the season and a death that will really take the majority of fans by surprise. I have to be honest...knowing the potential spoiler, it already feels like they have stopped developing/writing the character in question. Surprised that they have been able to keep the casting of a certain force of nature who is a fan of baseball secret...I sure would like to know who they got.

Yeah the "Pleasantville" like community is ripe for catastrophe. Carol is psychotic. Sasha would be how most people would be after such loss. Seen a lot of deaths on that show but is it sad I felt really bad about the horse.

Also wonder if they are going to do a Michone like appearance where they give you a glance but they have not cast the character yet.

I keep going back in my mind but after what they went through how do you not have any real security around the wall and not reinforcing the gate or area outside of it.

As jd mentions I am very surprised we haven't heard of who a certain major "guest" is yet but it seems inevitable he will show up this season. It is surprising to me that since they have hit Alexandria the tv series is following the books general story line extremely closely. And it appears, from next week's trailer, they will be following it closer still. If they do much mayhem and death is coming soon. Loved Rick's comment about the Alexandrian's being the luckiest people alive ... and love Darryl's "new friend." Looks like they are going to make good on Darabont's question to Norman ...

And in an ironic note I find the "Pleasantville/Alexandria" call out interesting. I was born in Alexandria, VI ...

Man, too many potential TWD spoiler alerts in here for those that didn't read the comics.

I will refrain from jumping back in here.

I think we have respected the no spoilers rule of specifics while teasing some easily available stuff...I hope everyone else agrees. I mean, saying someone unexpected is going to die isn't exactly earth shattering. Am I wrong? If so...apologies.

Well, that was easy.

I also don't think it is much of a spoiler to know who the next major player coming into the series will be just as when didn't read the comics at the time but knew the prison and governor.

To be honest no one knows who they will kill off or due damage to because they always change that aspect up. Otherwise Andrea would still be around at this point and Rick would be without a hand for a few seasons and half the other cast would be long gone. For that matter there our plenty of characters in the tv show that are not in the comics. It is really just anybody's guess what happens to who.

What an episode of Better Call Saul tonight. The show is coming into its own.

On an unrelated note, for those of you contemplating it, I went and did it. I have not watched TWD in weeks and I have to report that I have not noticed a significant decrease in my quality of life. Your mileage may vary.

Wow. Had that episode been on Breaking Bad it would still have ranked as one of the strongest in the series. Just fantastic.

I was going to post exactly that, but then I thought maybe I would be overstating it because it is fresh in my mind, unlike Breaking Bad. But, yeah.

I have a whole new respect for Carol. That was awesome. Well, except where she let a kid tail her.

It really would be something if Rick and some of the others did turn evil and took the place over, but that would have to be a finale kind of thing for them to really go hard on it.

The scarlet A for the hand stamp was a bit much.

Not sure why Wario is recruiting zombies.
