Heh.

I have never been a regular SNL viewer, even back when it was "good".

So suck it.

No thanks. I've always been a regular SNL viewer, even when it's been bad. Cus I'm a fan of the form.

The same way I watched the Kings when they were terrible.

So you suck it. Bandwagon comedy fan.

A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS Movie Images

Here’s the official synopsis for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas:

The new “Harold and Kumar” comedy picks up six years after the duo’s last adventure. After years of growing apart, Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents–and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree–going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

Part of me feels like I’m one of the few people looking forward to another Harold & Kumar movie, but I don’t care. The Harold & Kumar movies are delightfully madcap, feature a nice mix of gross-out humor and absurdity, and it looks like they’ve gone all out with A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. Director Todd Strauss-Schulson seems to have acknowledged that 3D is a mostly-gimmicky technology and used it to augment the shenanigans of his lead characters.

New Line has released twenty-five new images along with four new set photos and I continue to remain jazzed to see the movie. Hit the jump to check out the images. A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas opens November 4th.

+1...loves me some 'roldy + Koo Mar.

A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a new red band trailer for A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. The sequel takes place six years after Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay?the duo has grown apart, but when Kumar decides to bring a mysterious package to Harold?s house, Kumar inadverdently burns down Harold?s father?s prized Christmas tree. In place of White Castle, the stoner quest at the center of Christmas is to replace the tree.

John Cho and Kal Penn return as the title characters, joined by Neil Patrick Harris, Patton Oswalt, Thomas Lennon, Danny Trejo, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, and Elias Koteas. A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas opens in 3D on November 4th. If you?re over 17, watch the red band trailer after the jump.

The Harold & Kumar sense of humor is at home with the red band format, so be warned that the trailer is wildly NSFW. It looks like director Todd Strauss-Schulson (new to the series) had a ton of fun with the 3D element. All sorts of gimmickry flies out of the screen in these two minutes: fire, glass, a tooth, a blunt, a Claymation penis.

For comparison, watch the green band trailer here. Red band trailer via IGN:

I don?t know what this says about me, but a baby high on marijuana, then cocaine? Hilarious.

The Farrelly Brothers Plan to Direct DUMB AND DUMBER Sequel With Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels

Well this was unexpected. Having just wrapped production on a big screen version of The Three Stooges, directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly are now hoping to move on to a sequel to 1994’s Dumb and Dumber. Deadline reports that the intention is to bring back the film’s stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels to reprise their classic roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne. Apparently a script has already been written by Sex Drive scribes Sean Anders and John Morris, who also co-directed the Adam Sandler/Adam Samberg comedy I Hate You Dad. The plan is for the Dumb and Dumber sequel to be the Farrelly brothers’ next directorial project. The original film’s producers Charles B. Wessler, Brad Krevoy, and Steve Stabler are returning as well.

Sex Drive is waaaaaay underrated. Can Carrey still be funny?

No... and frankly I challenge the notion that he was ever "truly" funny to begin with.

Sorry, that's just silly. You don't like him, that's fine...but to say that Ace Ventura/Dumb & Dumber, and even IMO Me Myself & Irene are not funny(and him not funny in them) is absurd. That's like saying the Cowboys weren't a good team during their superbowl dynasty era. I hate that damned team, but I am not even going to try to say they weren't good at what they did. That's like saying Eddie Murphy wasn't funny during the 48 Hrs/BHC era...c'mon Doc.
