Louis C.K. Launches Surprise New Show 'Horace And Pete' Starring Steve Buscemi And Alan Alda

With little fanfare, Louis C.K. launched a new series, "Horace And Pete," starring himself, alongside Steve Buscemi and Alan Alda. The first episode is now available on his website for five bucks, with the "Cheers"-esque show revolving around the patrons of an Irish bar, with Edie Falco, Rebecca Hall, Jessica Lange, Kurt Metzger, Steven Wright, and others dropping by for cameo turns.

As interested as I am in something he is doing with Buscemi, $5 for a single episode is more than I am willing to pay.

I heard that it's very condescending. I find that to be something that Louis C.K. is guilty of more and more proportionate to his recognition/fame. His stamp is all over Fx's Baskets. I enjoyed his work at first, but I am tiring of it. I appreciate that he is trying to change the medium with this and his other projects, but I find myself no longer in his audience.
