The subtitle for the upcoming fourth season of the FX horror drama anthology series American Horror Story has been revealed. There have been rumors for months that season four of the stylistic thriller would take place at a carnival, and it appears that those rumors weren?t far off as today creator Ryan Murphy unveiled the full title: American Horror Story: Freak Show. The cast has yet to be announced, but it was previously made known that this will be Jessica Lange?s final season with the series, so one imagines Murphy will send her off with a bang. [Update: EW reports that Freak Show will take place in Jupiter, Florida in 1950 and stars Lange as a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the country. Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, and Frances Conroy are all confirmed to return as "freaks" that Lange's character has rescued, with Denis O'Hare and Emma Roberts currently in talks to come back as well.
