Per TVLine, show creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed at the Critic's Choice Awards that Michael Chiklis will be playing a strongman on "American Horror Story: Freak Show."
His character is married to Angela Bassett's character. "He has scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and [his onscreen ex] Kathy Bates," said Murphy. "I love the part because it’s really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well – the strong man who’s vulnerable. I’m very excited to see [him] tussle with all those great ladies. And he’s really up for it, really excited about it."

Yeah, stick it out. I think the rough beginnings will be worth it. Landsgraf usually sticks with something till it passes muster. Fx hasn't had a straight loser drama wise in a bit.
The Strain however, I'm very much looking forward toI tried Tyrant and couldn't get through the first episode. It lost my interest and patience. oy
And for good measure, Nicholas Stoller, director of Forgetting Sarah Marshall and writer of The Muppets, did another bit of fine writing when he tweeted, "Hey, ‘The Strain’ billboards: f— you! People have little kids in this city who don't want to be scared out of their goddamn minds!" Really? It's a little gross, that's all. People aren't running through the streets in a terrified frenzy.

FXX on Wednesday announced a 10-episode order for Man Seeking Woman, a comedy based on The Last Girlfriend on Earth, a book of short stories by former Saturday Night Live writer Simon Rich. Man follows Josh Greenberg (Undeclared‘s Baruchel) as he navigates the agonizing — and occasionally dangerous — world of dating.
“Simon Rich has delivered a wholly original, hilarious and fantastical view of single life that features an incredible performance from Jay Baruchel,” says Nick Grad, FX Networks and FX Productions’ President of Original Programming. “We feel this is the perfect fit for FXX and are thrilled to pick up the show.”
Man also stars Eric Andr? (The Eric Andr? Show), Britt Lower (Unforgettable) and Maya Erksine (Betas).
