Think we can all safely say that Fargo turned out better than we thought, and better than it had any right to be.
and I think we can all safely say that The Strain sucked.
Some thoughts:
Fargo - Holy cow, what a finale. What a show. Forgot to ask earlier, but am i reading too much into it or were there a handful of small, subtle references to other Coen Bros films throughout the show? Specifically, one of the Bemidji deputies being named Knutsen (The Big Lebowski), the case that Oliver Platt found the money in being the same as the one Josh Brolin finds the money in in No Country For Old Men? There were a couple others, but I forgot what they were.
Tyrant - All caught up, and I gotta say I find the show pretty interesting. Nothing spectacular has happened yet, but for some reason I still find myself enjoying the show quite a bit. Very interested to see where it goes, and how we get to Barry turning into a bad guy. I'm assuming that's going to happen eventually since he SPOILERS!!! shot that guy in the head as a kid. But, yeah, I'm into it.
The Strain - To this point, it seems to be fairly by-the-numbers horror, but I don't think it's all that bad. Going to stick with it for a little while and see how it goes.

This is a vamp tale with body horror(oh yeah Adgy...there should be a LOT of that in the next few episodes) that eventually morphs into a STAND-ish virus brings about the end of days thing. You know...that old chestnut.
Ya think? Note the case and the red ice scraper.
