Spent some quality time with "Atlanta" based on this quote: Donald Glover ... "I just always wanted to make Twin Peaks with rappers". It was more Fargo with rappers than Twin Peaks but still good. Anybody else watching?
It's a good series.
You'll get this when you finish watching it.

At the New Yorker festival over the weekend, series creator Ryan Murphy ultimately revealed his decision to re-cut the scene. “I believe I have the right to air it, but I also believe in victims’ rights,” he said. “I believe that now is probably not the week to have something explosive or incendiary in the culture, because someone who was affected might watch that, and it could trigger something or make them feel upset.”
FX has also now released an official statement, confirming Murphy’s decision to re-cut the episode airing Tuesday night, however the unedited version will also be available online.
In light of the tragedy last week in Las Vegas, Ryan Murphy and the producers of American Horror Story: Cult have chosen to make substantial edits to the opening scene of tomorrow night’s episode (Tuesday, October 10, 10 PM ET/PT). This opening, which was filmed two months ago and which portrays an occurrence of gun violence that has sadly become all too common in our country, contains a sequence that some viewers might find traumatic.
Only the edited version of the episode will air on the FX linear channel, while the unedited version of the episode will be available on the VOD platform of your cable, satellite or telco provider, as well as on the FX Networks non-linear platforms, FXNOW and FX+.

Riiight!!!? Darius on his best day is a free-thinking oddball that's not a cartoonish and that's great to see; he and I would be peas in a pod =) Completed the the series last week but just re-watched the Beiber episode this weekend, the poetic license was taken and rewarded in kind.In my top 2 within the last couple of years. The show has more hidden nuggets that you don't catch onto until a second or third showing than most. Its awesome that the best writing is spent on the non-lead. The Darius character is stealth brilliance. But I gush. Can't wait for season 2.
Check this out. Spoilers depending where you are at with the series

Well, it was an interesting season of A/H/S. At times it played like some weird political Chick Tract(if you are too young to know what they are I suggest you check out http://www.chick.com/, you won't be disappointed), and other times it was about the most streamlined and dare I say, subtle, season ever. Sarah Paulsen was her usual terrific self, at least once she stopped being so shrill. But this time Even Peters was given center stage and ran with it. As usual, the story got a little played out towards the end. And the ending felt a bit abrupt and manufactured. But overall a satisfying watch.
