This is one of the best cliff hangers in a long time. (spoiler ALERT!) ... My wife and I will be talking about what he did with the body until next March. There's no way he can actually get away with this, is there? Fonzie can put 2 and 2 together can't he?
 
By the way, the season finale of "Barry" was amazing.

I mean, the whole season was great, but that finale was NEXT LEVEL.

Shogun World was very good but I honestly liked Episode 4 (last weeks) better and possibly as the best episode made so far. They moved the story along really well last week. And is anyone a bit tired with Dolores and her narrative? I am pretty much over her. BORING! I found myself looking for the Man In Black and of course Maeve (which we got a lot of thankfully) throughout the episode last night ...

To be clear, Lindelof’s ideas sound really interesting (they usually do!) But this post is pretty insufferable … it goes on to say:

“This story will be set in the world its creators painstakingly built…but in the tradition of the work that inspired it, this new story must be original,” he said. “It has to vibrate with the seismic unpredictability of its own tectonic plates. It must ask new questions and explore the world through a fresh lens. Most importantly, it must be contemporary. The Old Testament was specific to the Eighties of Reagan and Thatcher and Gorbachev. Ours needs to resonate with the frequency of Trump and May and Putin and the horse that he rides around on, shirtless. And speaking of Horsemen, The End of the World is off the table…which means the heroes and villains–as if the two are distinguishable–are playing for different stakes entirely […] Some of the characters will be unknown. New faces. New masks to cover them. We also intend to revisit the past century of Costumed Adventuring through a surprising yet familiar set of eyes…and it is here we will be taking our greatest risks.”

Ignoring the editorializing, I am actually glad about this. I don't think you can improve on Snyder's version, unless you subbed in the giant squid. So, the fact that it is almost going to be an Elseworlds kinda version is fine with me. Good to know that going in. I imagine the casting will be announced soonish and I expect this to start moving a little faster. If I'm lucky there will be some presence at Comic-con this year.
 
Why the hell does everyone hate Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie so much? I think it's great.

Do I have horrible taste and just don't know it?

I thought it was fine. About as good as that story could have been translated into the format, actually. I own it and it's one of those movies that I'll be happy to drop in on when I'm flipping through the channels.
 
This show is totally ending with Elsie going back to dental school.

Really didn't like her much at all last season but she has been great this season. Good epi last night - answered some questions but opened up quite a bit more ... the MIB story line is getting very interesting ... I think I know where it is heading ....

i liked sunday’s episode better than the last one. still trying to figure out the time line though.

Well, they're certainly hinting at it very hard. Although it could be a misdirection. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Why is watching Westworld such a chore? It took me 2 and a 1/2 weeks to watch the shogun episode from 3 weeks ago. There is just no focus. A bunch of random threads that do not seem to be interested in a larger story.

Or is it just me?
