All Things:HBO/CINEMAX

Sharp Objects was fun. Southern Noire by way of a Summer Novel. Cast elevated it, only complaint was a 'gotcha' epilogue that was too easy to see coming.

I'd slap money down on Gendry waaay before Arya. Maybe it's just me, but I think he is a strong dark horse since the dire pup seems to already be out of the bag on how George intends it to end.

Noble: There is logic to the Gendry choice, Mr. Martin does love himself some bastards. I did a deep Google search for articles about Arya and her allies, specifically Jaqen & the arguments are compelling so I would not count the lady Stark out. But since I don?t have a ?dire wolf? in this fight my focus will be how some jerks meet their bloody demise. That?s not psycho, right? Ugh. Eff it, a tiger can?t change her stripes. =)

To that end: If Cersei dies of ?old age?, child birth or frostbite I will not be amused.

So watch season 3 of true detective?

Notbob: I am. It has caught and held my attention for five shows, which is four more than season 2. So, there is that and today, I made the mistake of reading the fan theories. Now, I am totally in. Fun fact: It only took me four shows to realize the theme song was on the De Stijl album by the White Stripes as a cover. As an aside: it was kind of their best album. But I digress?

True Detective season 3 has been interesting. Stephen Dorrf has been pretty damned good. Hopefully he gets a bump from it.
