Depends. If you like slow burns, and suggestive period pieces you should like it. It builds to kind of an odd climax that may or may not satisfy because it is kind of a 360.
If you don't have patience, probably not.

Meh. I like slow but if it just drags on forever, I'll probably pass.

Recommend any good mindbenders?

Doesn't drag per se. Interesting, but yeah, it's a grower, not a show-er. Don't Breathe was decent. Not the 2nd coming as the reviews stated, but solid. I think Rob Zombie's 31 is on Shudder(out on blu this week) haven't seen yet, but I hear it's a solid exploitation diy flick. Also have not seen, but I keep reading universal praise for The Invitation on Netflix.

Cool man.

I'm kind of on the mindbender tip after WW. All synapses fired with that s***. I'll look for The Invitation on NF.

Also heard The Conjuring 2 was pretty good. I kindo liked 1 but wasn't over the top impressed.

Que es eso? WW?

Conjuring 2 was ok. Farmigia and Wilson both really dependable actors. But...it is a sequel. And the law of diminishing returns applies. First one was a lot noisier. This one was grounded pretty well...but kinda meh. Good rental/stream, but I felt gipped paying movie theater money for it.

The Invitation is very solid, it doesn't invent the wheel but is quite uncomfortable (in a good way) and tense. I actually watched it last week on Netflix.
I was a bigger fan of Don't Breathe but both are well worth a watch. The Witch has been on my watch list for awhile but haven't been in the mood for what I expect it to be.

In the same general department as The Witch, I also recommend Sun Choke and Shelley.

I was a good girl last year, so Santa brought me a special present.

My all-time favorite TV movie, even though I only saw it once or maybe twice over 40 years ago. I was very happy to finally see it again. I knew it would seem cheesy by today's standards, but I still love it. The creatures are people in costume that are made to look very small, and that aspect was actually done fairly well. Overall it's very simple, but still creepy considering that it's a 1973 network TV movie.
"Don't hurt her."
"But I want to!"
There's a blatant mistake that literally made me laugh out loud. The scene is at night, and a woman takes a flashlight outside to check the breakers after the lights went out. It's obviously daylight outside, yet she's shining the flashlight anyway. They cut to the husband driving, and it's very dark. Back to the woman, and it's daylight. I assume that they ran out of time or money and had to shoot or re-shoot her part by the end of the day. Also, the ending is both creepy and hilarious at the same time. This one is a true guilty pleasure.
