The Dolphin Cares!
I am assuming that list is not taking inflation into account. And Signs a horror movie? Horribly bad.

Following the handheld camera/found footage trend set by films like The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity and [Rec], comes a new horror film from Spain called Atrocious that will be hitting select U.S. theaters on August 17th.
With financing now lined up Mclean returns with lead actor John Jarrat in tow for the film that will head into pre-production later this year, with a shooting start date of February 2012 marked on the calendar. Of course, exact details are being closely guarded—producer Matt Hearn says, “We’re keeping story details top secret for now, but it is safe to say: scarier, bigger, badder”—but this time around Mclean has teamed with Aaron Sterns (script editor on “Rogue”) on the screenplay.
The outback once more becomes a place of mind-bending horror, action and suspense as another unwitting tourist becomes the prey for crazed, serial-killing pig-shooter Mick Taylor.
From the Press Release
Eli Roth, the multi-talented director, writer, producer and actor, will adapt his enormously successful Hostel film franchise to create Eli Roth?s Hostel: Hunting Season, a twisted new Halloween Horror Nights maze at Universal Studios Hollywood. The event begins on September 23 and continues on select nights through October 31.
Hostel: Hunting Season, for which Universal will build elaborate sets re-creating locations in Slovakia, will mark the horror auteur and star?s first effort at transforming his screen work into a live theme park experience. The maze will re-imagine the film?s torture chambers and send guests on a spiraling journey through the corrupt halls of Elite Hunting?s torture factory. Elite Hunting, a secret society that tortures and kills American youth for sport in exchange for large sums of money, will prowl the factory and prey on its many maze visitors.
Eli Roth said: "Creating a maze for ?Halloween Horror Nights? is a horror fan's dream come true. I?ve been visiting Halloween Horror Nights for years and still remember the heart-pounding terror of going through the mazes for the first time. For me it was like going inside the world of a movie and experiencing it in a visceral environment that simply cannot be replicated, and in subsequent years I've found I'm just as scared as I was the first time.
?I am so happy to join forces with the creative team at Universal. Our collaborative vision to bring ?Hostel? to life will give both fans of my movie and horror fans a scare they could never have imagined.
"I was honored to receive an Eyegore Award at last year?s Halloween Horror Nights event and began talking to Universal about a Hostel maze even then. This is something I?ve dreamed of for years. I may even dress up and appear in the maze one night as a torturer. So when you say ?I scared you,? you can literally mean that I scared you!"
In addition to the Hostel franchise, Eli Roth is well-known to film audiences as the writer-director-producer of Cabin Fever and as the baseball bat-wielding co-star of Quentin Tarantino?s Inglourious Basterds, for which he won a Screen Actor?s Guild Award. As a producer, his film The Last Exorcism was a box office smash, and he is currently in post-production on the Clown and The Man with the Iron Fists, both of which are slated for release in the coming months.
Roth is the first star to be announced as a collaborator in this year?s Halloween Horror Nights event and will be a key member of a Hollywood horror ?dream team? assembled by Universal Studios Hollywood to create the ultimate ?live? Halloween nightmare. He is also serving as a judge in Universal Studios Hollywood?s annual Halloween Horror Nights short film competition, which will culminate in a presentation to a winning filmmaker during the ?Eyegore Awards? on the event?s opening night, September 23. The Thing: Assimilation, a new maze inspired by Universal Pictures? upcoming thriller, has also been announced and will add to the Hollywood horror clout.
Updates on are available on the Halloween Horror Nights website and also on Facebook or Twitter.
Review:
Anyone thinking that Chillerama is just going to be a modern day Creepshow with new bells and whistles of modern day technology, think again. Chillerama is nothing like Creepshow except for the fact that both happen to be in the horror genre and both happen to be anthologies.
Each of the four segments within the film is as unique as the directors that are involved. Adam Rifkin's "Wadzilla" is a hilarious throw back to old school monster movies, albeit with a giant killer sperm at the center. "I Was a Teenage Werebear" is an examination of the trials and tribulations of gay teenagers in the '60s that happen to be werebears, oh yeah, it's also a musical. "Diary of Anne Frankenstein" is perhaps the most hilarious of the bunch with an all-subtitled '40s-type feel with Joel David Moore playing Adolf Hitler and spouting German phrases such as "wienerschnitzel" and "osh kosh bgosh" and "fahrvergn?gen" and "Boba Fett". Also with Kane Hodder as one pissed-off Jewish Frankenstein that won't be denied the opportunity to knock the block off a foam-headed Hitler.
This is all wrapped around a zombie-ish story by Joe Lynch that involves the last day of a drive-in and the showing of the films above to a rather normal set of people gathered at the cinema for the final event. There's only one problem ? one of the drive-in employees decided earlier to have a little necrophilia with is dead wife of 10 years. And not to let things go, of course, the wife comes back to life and bites his beanbag off. But a good employee, he comes into work and still a bit randy from his time with the wife, decides to use the butter as lube?the butter gets into the popcorn and you can see where this is going.
"Zom-B Movie" is by far the goriest and brutal of any of the segments. After the popcorn is circulated, it turns into one chaotic, body-part laden orgy ? yes, they are rape zombies. They rape you until your head pops off, your limbs are shredded you name it.
Chillerama is more about the laughs than it is anything else ? scary isn't a word I would use to describe it. The sperm/sex jokes alone in "Wadzilla" come so fast and furious that you almost need a second viewing just to see which ones you missed.
But Chillerama is also about making you uncomfortable as possible. Sperm wrestling, massive amounts of jizz being spewed onto everyone, anal sex parties in the shower, teens turned into YMCA rejects wearing assless chaps, a werebear penis through the abdomen, slapstick Hitler and his pinky swearing, headless body parts getting raped by zombies, heads getting raped without bodies and this doesn't even include the entire sub-segment "Deathecation" which is mainly just poo being thrown on various females, people pooing, poo art ? you get the idea.
But all of this is in good fun and you can tell this was just thrown together for the hell of it and for fun, which to the viewer makes it fun. And the ending is a smash with Richard Riehle's Cecil character spouting every memorable line from every action or drama movie in the past few decades.
Chillerama is delivered this fall and worth checking out for a laugh and some seriously gross-out moments, just don't expect the same type of horror you may be used to seeing from these popular directors in it.
