Wow. I mean, just, wow. That is just embarrassing. Obviously that’s a new Pinhead because Doug Bradley was too smart to sign on to this piece of crap, and boy does that new guy stink! My dog is scarier than that guy, and my dog is small and extremely cute. I expect a little more from a film made solely to hold on to the franchise rights. Even more embarrassing, this is getting some sort of limited theatrical and VOD release. When? Who cares?!

This was directed by the moron who made Mirrors 2 and was written by the guy who does Pinhead’s make-up. Way to go, dudes. Now no one will ever take Hellraiser seriously ever again.

as unclear as the ending may have been I would prefer the ambiguity to an overexplanation. This is a 'danger zone' project because it not only could suck, it could also invalidate the original flick(which was realllllly strong).
 
the ending is jarring, but the overall movie is definitely worth seeing. Great performances and strong progession of events.

Saw Dog Soldiers for the second-ish time last night. As a Werewolf afficianado I have to say it may be the finest shifter film since 'the Howling'. A well put together movie that uses darkness and wonderful editing to make the most of some of the better 'wolf effects ever put to film. Add Kevin McKidd and Sean Pertwee(who Neil Marshall seems to take great delight in torturing/killing) and this is a movie that I have to INSIST you watch fearless readers.

Morituris is one of those love it or absolutely despise it flicks from what I have read so far. Read a slightly spoilery interview with the makers and it sounds like a really messed up bloody, very Italian old school horror flick. More to come on this one.
