All Things HORROR

So far they have had the guy who made Martyrs turn in an attempt, I think the guy(s) that did Frontieres, and the guys who made Drive Angry. All fairly capable and yet all were rejected. Yet they allow that horrible Bieber as Pinhead direct to dvd drek just to hang on to the property. Seriously, they have mucked it up badly. Here are my keys...make it HARD R. And allow whoever you trust with it to take it all the way. There is no 'safe' Hellraiser. Sorry. It has to be some serious f'd up stuff. I don't think the originals took it far enough either. These should be stuff of nightmares...seriously. Almost abstract.

I managed to find a few upcoming decently reviewed horror movies that I'll report back on soon (ranked in order of anticipation.)

V/H/S
Rites of Spring
R.E.C. 3
The Tall Man
Lovely Molly

every second of the movies should be as intense as hellraiser 2's razor scene

Forget ‘Twilight,’ Lionsgate Tinkering With Remaking ‘Saw’ Franchise… | | Bloody DisgustingBloody Disgusting

I don't know...I can't really claim surprise or anger. But...SPOILERS...I thought they were headed in a nice direction with Cary Elwes leading a cult of Saw victim/survivors. It made sense as far as the work involved and I think there is some story to be mined there. If they do reboot do they bring back Tobin Bell, recast John/Jigsaw or simply go in another direction entirely? Regardless, make no mistake, the reason they are trying to get this back on track is because the October/Halloween slot is owned by Paranormal Activity right now. With the fourth in the franchise coming up, there is money to be had. Especially if PA4 is lousy.

Didn't they make a new Scream? They can spoof that?

Seriously, there probably gonna spoof stuff like found footage.
