ITunes users fume at surprise 'free' U2 album

man I didn't expect them to put in into my Itunes without my consent!I just opened my phone and sure enough the album is there. wth

I got like 15 emails from iPhone users at work: "Did I accidentally buy an album? How much did I pay for it?"

My free disk space is kind of low, so I'm kind of annoyed at the whole thing.

Man, that's SOME BAWLS. I just know that there will be headlines proclaiming that drek 'the most downloaded cd in iTunes history. What a scam. If I had an iPhone I would soooooo be done with Apple. Samsung bitches!!!!!!!

The actual music is not there. You just have the authorization to download it for free, so it should not be taking up any space unless you choose to download it.

True but still annoying to have it in my music list

Yeah, I did find that out once I actually looked, so it was only mildly annoying. :)

Queens Of The Stone Age Reuniting With Oliveri ::Queens Of The Stone Age News ::antiMusic.com

But Oliveri says while he wouldn't rule out a permanent move, that decision isn't up to him. He tells NME: "That's pretty much up to Josh. It's his band. I put myself out there a few times in the past 10 years. I'd go and see them play and say, 'Hey man, I'm here! Do you want me to sing a song?'

"I stopped asking him after a while and then he asked me! It's pretty much just when he wants to do something these days. It's not up to me."

Is it maybe because you are a whackadOo????

First new Billy Idol album in 8 years released today (10/21) called "Kings and Queens of the Underground." If you liked Billy in the 80's, this album will very likely appeal to you. Really good stuff and great to hear him still rockin at age 60. Look for a US tour early next year (2 nights at the Wiltern for those of you in Los Angeles). Streaming right now on Pandora as well, details at the link below.

He also released his autobiography a couple of weeks ago.

Almost positive that Steve Stevens is still playing with him...that alone is worth the price of admission.

Steve Stevens is a full time band member and collaborator. Water under the bridge. We saw Billy back on the previous album tour and Steve was amazing as you would expect.

Wow the new album is really good! Talk about lots of his styles compiled together. I keep thinking, yep this would've come right after rebel yell, or yep this would've come right out of eyes without a face, or white wedding, and then some.

Very much digging it
