All Things:NETFLIX

Don't let Mitchrock see that you peeps are talking about Amazon here or he'll drop the Monkey Hammer again. mhihi:

Hmmm, Ex Machina is on that list. I should've watched that movie by now. I am pretty optimistic about Alex Garland's upcoming Southern Reach Trilogy movie.

It's interesting to say the least ...

Jason Bateman’s New Series Goes To Netflix, Will Be Dark Dangerous Drama

Bateman told us that Ozarks will run ten episodes, half of which he plans to direct. Although he had originally hoped to direct the entire series, which he compares to “a 600-page movie.”

“I’m going to [direct] the first two and probably the last two out of the ten. Just scheduling-wise there is no way to act in all of them and prep all of them, but that was the original intent — to basically direct a 600-page movie. I’m kind of a glutton for… But since I’ll be the EP as well, its kind of a producers medium, I’ll still be able to check all those boxes.”

So what is the Jason Bateman Netflix show about? Details have been kept under wraps, so the report from September only told us that the series takes its name from the location where it is set, the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

Bateman told us that he is “really looking forward to that challenge” with the new show as its a drama, in stark contrast to the comedy projects he usually takes on.

“It’s a drama. It’s kind of a dark dangerous show about a money launderer for a drug cartel.”

I am tempted to watch Fuller House, but I don't think that I can muster up the nerve to watch it unless I find myself really bored and drunk one afternoon, which means, that I'll probably watch it eventually. mhihi: :manybeers:

I watched the first episode of Fuller House and it was "reuniony" and cheesy but a little funnier then I expected. I was slightly disappointed that everyone's career was highly successful vs. average joe successful and they had to squeeze in many catchphrases. Some worked and some didn't work. Stephanie's catchphrase caught me off guard and I lol'd a little. This happens to every reunion show though. Some work better than others. I'll probably get to the other episodes eventually but I am not in a hurry.

We watched two episodes but decided to stop and make it a TGIF friday occurrence like the old days.

It was really cheesy, really corner, really in that "so bad it's good" kind of way. Everything that made the original so brilliant is pretty much done the same way. Loved it so far!

I mean come on when the ran the original intro with all the old pictures of everyone followed by their new? That's nostalgia 101 right there.

Fuller house is an easy watch, some shows are so much now a days with violence and suspense sometimes you just need a "cool down"! After watching say "THE KILLING" my wife will say I need a "cool down". That's why Hart of Dixie exists, right?

Loving Fuller House. Just watched Episode 3 last night and I feel like I'm going to fast. I don't like binge watching and I have that "old school" mentality of watching one episode a week.

It's kind of like Girl Meets World. You watch it for the new AND old cast members. Great stuff all around.

Is he still a registered sex offender?

Not sure how that works, I would imagine that's not a status you lose...but I think it happened in Florida, so who knows? But, if that is an attempt to toss shade on him, it's hard to understand how elbow aerobics in an adult theater can be considered anything worse than bad judgement. I mean...what is the purpose of an adult theater, if not that. Is it a little sad...a little creepy, sure. But it's not as if he was hanging around a schoolyard. Hell, Miley Cyrus went from Hannah Montana to being a constantly naked pansexual who simulates various acts live, if you want a parallel. In the end, who cares. Are you going to dismiss the genius of Fred Willard for the same reason? I still love the man, he's a national treasure and Pee Wee is an icon. PERIOD.

I looked it up. He agreed to register as a Sex offender for the duration of his probation stemming from his obscenity case in 2004. He had all charges cleared and expenged in 2007.
He is not.
