All Things:NETFLIX

Well, for whatever reason I couldn't get into Rectify, even though I tried, and the Americans got really goofy and totally unrealistic IMHO, so I stopped watching. I still really like The Leftovers. But Peaky Blinders is my favorite.

Chiming in here.....if you're looking for another fantastic show to watch (if you don't already,) try Black Sails. It's my favorite show on TV right now...possibly my favorite show that has ever been on TV. I've made it my mission in life to get everyone to watch this show.

LOVE Peaky Blinders as well, just FYI.

Since we're bringing up shows, I thought Happy Valley (particularly the first season) was one of the best things I've seen in a while. It is on Netflix.

So many good shows are coming out of the UK these days. :good:

I just found out the other day that the score for Peaky Blinders incorporates a lot of PJ Harvey music, so I'm going to stop putting it off immediately.

Happy Valley is great. River is another good good UK cop show, also streaming.

Yes. And it's also like the creators of the show sat together and said let's come up with a show that could work with a lot of Nick Cave's music (And not just Red Right Hand, but we can use several versions of that song too). ;)

Yep, Aunt Polly is still alive :)

I like that there are so many Harry Potter alumni on British shows. Watch Peaky Blinders and there's Narcissa. Watch Happy Valley and there's Moaning Myrtle.

And Penny Dreadful, there's Narcissa again, lol.

And Wallander, there's Gilderoy.

I think British actors have officially replaced the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game with Six Degrees of Potter. ;)
