All Things:NETFLIX

Just ran across Hugo last night. Directed by Martin Scorsese. Although it can be classified as a kids/young adults flick, it was done well enough to be worth watching. Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen and the child actors were all good. Christopher Lee has a small part. Plot details here.

Here’s the official synopsis for Frontier:

The series is an action-packed adventure drama following the chaotic and violent struggle to control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late 18th century. Told from multiple perspectives, the series takes place in a world where business negotiations might be resolved with close-quarter hatchet fights, and where delicate relations between Native tribes and Europeans can spark bloody conflicts.

Just finished a series called Fauda. Was pretty good. Israeli show which is pretty much their version of 24, with their special forces team trying to catch and stop terrorists, bringing an ex-officer out of retirement to do so. If you've watched 24, it gets a bit predictable in certain places. But I enjoyed it.

Sub-titles as it's mostly in Hebrew and/or Arabic, but I still found it very easy to follow.

Thumbs up.
