All Things:NETFLIX

The Dark Crystal movie actually looks like it was inspired by Acid. It scared me the first time I saw it as a kid, haha. It doesn't scare me anymore, and I have it somewhere, and should look for it and watch it again. :)

What I also remember as a kid is when Jen's mentor tells him that he is going to kick the bucket, and Jen says, "But I don't understand."

Like, I needed to remember that. Excuse me, I have something in my eye...

Brad Pitt And David Mich?d’s ‘War Machine’ Is An Absurd, Tragicomic Home Run

Thanks, I guess I'll have to take a look. My favorite part of the review:

Does Stanley McChrystal really look like that when he runs, his legs spread wide into an athletic crouch, arms barely moving, like Fred Flintstone hauling 12-pound testicles? I don’t remember, but it feels right. ...(I couldn’t find footage of McChrystal jogging online to compare, but it looks like Mich?d and Pitt may have extrapolated from McChrystal’s strangely ape-armed way of walking)

The YouTube clip embedded at the end of the article is about McChrystal, and as soon as you click "play," it's footage of McChrystal jogging.

This current season of House of Cards really went hard.

Dex: Dude, did you watch it? I'm on the fence.

Season one: Amazing!
Season two: liberties were taken.
Season three: Frank Underwood turned into a grandpa in a comfortable sweater. Yaaawwn.
Season four: Hate watched.

Season five...?
My only reason for watching is if Frank hooks up with that stoic guy with the beard.

I'm at episode five. Doug is the best character.

Yeah, I checked out sometime in season 3. It was a really great show for a season. It started going downhill after that, and was definitely picking up speed.

Agreed. I probably checked out mentally in the third season too but I really like the way DC is portrayed visually. And the fact that everyone dresses formally (Robin Wright-Penn is my style icon), maybe it is because I lived in HI and Los Angeles too long but I like the idea of adults dressing like adults. The Underwood's at home at 11 pm still suited up, love it. It makes me want to move to the East Coast...
