All Things:NETFLIX

Too late for closure? Perhaps. I watched the final season of House of Cards. *sigh* Spoiler: everyone became a serial killer and a woman who went through menopause in season one, got pregnant in season six. *Eye roll*Adding insult to injury every single episode was about Kevin Spacey's character. What in the actual ****? Booooooo. There are a half dozen "writers" at Coffee Bean right now (any location)that could have done more with show. :(

Yeah it was not very good... I stuck with it because I wanted to know the outcome for Doug Stamper and Claire Underwood/Hale.

Only 8 episodes in the final season and the first 6 episodes just felt like it dragged. I did like the last 2 episodes but it also felt like they just straight up ran out of time. It's like the pacing of it is all off... and the ending was meh.

That's why I kept hoping that the whole Kevin Spacey thing would have blown over and that he was in it. House of Cards IS Kevin Spacey. I get that they did what they could without him but I don't think the writers can honestly admit that they even tried.

Yup. Doug was my guy too. At the end he just seemed like a stalker in love with someone who would never love him back. Under that lens the ending made sense. Real talk: I may hate watch it again from the beginning.

If it were me, Janine would have been the hero and her articles would have taken everyone down.

Oh yeah, that was my gripe about the ending too. While sure, it's good to focus on Claire and Doug. But they left so many other characters "hanging" on how their story ended. I guess we're suppose to draw up our own conclusions? But still, just tell the audience what happened after 6 seasons...

Werd.

You?re going to hate me (more so?) but I did have a high :rasta:thought about a website (and maybe it already exists, because, duh the internet) where every show that has ever been cancelled abruptly, the actual writers of the show could upload ?one final script? for closure. Then I realized maybe I should be less high . =)

Dork level: 100. Out and proud.

Pssst: too cool thx for nerding out with me, I think I got closure with your help. :)

Some of these have spoilers. I am just putting them here because I can't help myself, I mean, if we don't talk about these shows Netflix might cancel them. :rolleyes2:

Finally finished this. Mixed opinions. Possible spoilers..

The fight/shooting scenes are great. Bernthal is fantastic again.

The shrink annoyed the crap out of me. I could not get invested in her story with Billy. I focused more on his not remembering then discovering what he did to Frank, yet still managing to blame him for his scars. This dragged on way too long for 13 episodes. And really, for his being Jigsaw, his face wasn't mangled or scarred really at all. It looks like just a couple scrapes. Amazing plastic surgeons they have out there. You'd think it would be Frank delivering final justice to Billy, and yes he in finality did. But really it was Madani when all was said and done.

I enjoyed Pilgrim as another villain, however the story with the senator and his parents did not have enough depth. His final fight scene with Frank was again beautiful, but I found myself wondering in the finale how they could fit closure on his story in addition to Frank's. Could've pushed that into episode 12.

Amy started off as annoying but her relationship with Frank did develop well over the season, to the point where you do feel like he's partly a father again.

Also - Alexa Davalos! (and some folks online pointing out small easter eggs that hint her son may turn out to be batman? sheesh)

anyone catching Sex Education?

Raunchy and not afraid of showing the human anatomy. It's also pretty darn funny and heartfelt.

Gillian Anderson with a British accent though....
