?The OA? Season 2 Review: An Ambitious, Wondrous Exercise in WTF Storytelling

Judging by the amount of response I received when I was crowing about s1, you guys didn't watch. Try it again. Like Leftovers, not an easy watch. Not really bingeable. But very rewarding nonetheless.

I just finished Part 1. Interesting, definitely takes some time to get used to and is very slow to start. I ended up enjoying and Season 2 looks interesting. I will be watching.

Well after Straight Outta Compton hit at the box office, all the studios started buying up every music property they could get their hands on. Netflix optioned Motley Crue.

Netflix? I thought they only made classy flicks like Okja and Gerald's Game?

Yeah well once they made Bird Box, everything went to hell.

I am just waiting for a Netflix movie about Creed!

I'll make all the Creed references that I want and take your criticisms with arms wide open!!! :pssst:

Love Death & Robots is pretty cool. The first episode had me hooked.

Okay finished over the weekend. Many were hit or miss for me, but east to get through with each episode being 15 minutes or less. I liked Three Robots a bunch, had me lol'g. In Ice Age, I first thought the animation of Topher Grace and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were nuts, but read that part was live action. Fun watching animated Hitler die in a variety of ways in Alternate Histories, although the end game results weren't always fantastic.

That scene in Beyond the Aquila Rift? geezus.

It really reminded me a bit of 1981's "Heavy Metal" and then I read that the producers were very much inspired by it, which made a lot of sense. It was also hit and miss for me, but I've noticed that the hits and misses are different for different people. It's worth the watch for some amazing, and very different, animation if nothing else.
