All Things:NETFLIX

Do you watch Oa? Anyone watch s2 yet?????

Tom Ellis on How Netflix Saved ?Lucifer?, a Shorter Season 4, and the Show?s Future
http://collider.com/lucifer-season-4-tom-ellis-interview-netflix/

Watched it and thought even though really out there it was still entertaining. Without spoiling season 2 for anyone i like the twist at the end. I put it in the same ball park as Happy for me. Weird but entertaining. Am wondering what being high enough to try to interdimensional time travel would feel like? I guess I haven't lived enough or grew up during the wrong time period.

A little uneven in spots, which keeps it from being a GREAT show, but I liked it a lot. Definitely entertaining with lots of twists and turns, funny, sometimes hearfelt and and dark. Christina Applegate is absolutely amazing in it.

Q's Netflix rec of the week:
Trash Fire
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5076792/

Probably the darkest movie I seen since Cheap Thrills (oh wait, I watched A Serbian Film). The Drive Me Crazy guy is the biggest f'n dik. A "trash fire" of a human being (clever title). Why do we follow him? Why does his girlfriend stick around? Does he turn things around in the end?

when the f are we getting Point Blank?!

also I've rec'd this movie before, but if you haven't seen it yet...

Q's Netflix rec of the week: The Endless

I don't know why but I can't get enough of this movie. I notice new things every time and it keeps getting better. Yeah I watched it twice this week... I'm sic. Whatever. Basically two boys who were saved by who they thought were campers find out that their rescuers were part of a "UFO Death Cult." They escape before they think the cult is ready to commit the act. Ten years later they receive a tape from the cult and it piques their interest.

Netflix’s ‘The Perfection’ Is The Most Bonkers Movie Of The Year, And People Can’t Stop Talking About It

Ok. This is NOT a good movie. But it IS a good BAD movie. Don't read anything...just watch it.

I do think it's symptomatic of what the glut of original Netflix content's problem is. No development, just rush it into completion. It doesn't look like a movie, more like a soap opera. Probably could have been a really good movie if they had refined it. But, unlike most of the ****e on Netflix, this is so stoopid entertaining because it is such a mess. Completely magical trash.
